DAY NINE OF CADET ATTACHMENT PROGRAM

PLT BERNARD NAVARRO, the Chief Administrative Officer of the Santa Rosa City Police Station, imparted his guidance and mentorship to the cadets of the Philippine National Police Academy by sharing his real-life experiences and lessons learned throughout his career as a police officer, serving the country from being a patrolman and progressing to becoming a commissioned police officer. His 30-year service in the police force is a manifestation of his dedication and commitment to the PNP, serving as an example and inspiration to all men in uniform.

He also highlighted the importance of character and competency as public safety leaders leading and directing our subordinates in the field, for these are our assets in achieving our objective of serving the people and enforcing the law without fear or favor.

Moreover, he gave us tips on how to avoid and prevent administrative cases[1] in our career since as public safety officer, we are prone to administrative and criminal cases that could compromise and affect our duties as a police officer. We must supervised well our subordinates because their achievement will be credited to us but their failure is also our failure as their commander in accordance to the command responsibility of our organization.
